Browser storage details
Signed-in account session A short-lived, HttpOnly secure cookie keeps account access working. Browser scripts cannot read it, and the server removes it when you sign out. A device-local yes-or-no hint avoids unnecessary account checks; it contains no token or account details.
Homepage web-app status The homepage makes one no-store status check when it loads. The web-app API receives the existing web-app session cookie when present and returns only a yes-or-no value; no account details are requested or saved in browser storage. This check creates no cookie or storage entry.
Notice acknowledgement This device stores the notice version and two timestamps. The acknowledgement is valid for 180 days and is cleared on a later visit after expiry, or when you clear browser data. It contains no user ID, is not sent over the network, and is not permission for future optional tracking. Limited operational and security logs are handled separately from these browser controls. The packaged app has its own optional usage-data setting.
